STS Survey Technologies

The Doha Marriot Gulf Hotel is a 5-star 378-key Resort Hotel located near the airport and business district in South-western Doha on a plot of 59,709 m2 with a total built-up area of 62,775 m2.

The Project Scope includes complete renovation master plan, rehabilitation, expansion, reconstruction, and introduction of new facilities. It comprises 2 blocks of 7 and 11 floors, a podium, a new underground parking, a new Marina building and parking, day-use cabins, multiple pools, ancillary buildings and landscaping.

The service that assessed and provides workforce required for the project,  possessed the necessary skills and knowledge for the surveying tasks at hand. STS provided a team consisting of Surveyors and Chainmen with survey instruments (Total Station or GPS and Level) as required by UCC. The main duties and responsibilities of the team are to verified all survey works performed based on provided coordinates, contractor’s instructions, project requirements and to achieve the milestone target.
